Diana Hickman

Event
Information

For this special performance on the eve of Halloween, Diana Hickman presents an evening of songs and stories that moves between original music and reimagined covers drawn from classic pop, soul, and contemporary artists. Seated at the piano and joined by a small ensemble of musicians, she creates a performance that is both intimate and expansive, unfolding in real time with a sense of curiosity and play. With a background in cabaret and musical theater, Hickman brings a natural sense of shape and theatricality to the evening, moving through distinct shifts in energy and tone that allow for moments of stillness, humor, tension, and release.

In the spirit of the season, there is a subtle nod to Halloween woven throughout the night. Costumes are encouraged if you feel inspired, though not required. The atmosphere leans into a sense of mystery, transformation, and lightheartedness, inviting the audience to step slightly outside the everyday and into something a bit more playful and unexpected.

At the center of it all is Hickman’s expressive voice and musicality, guiding the audience through an experience that is thoughtful, at times offbeat, and ultimately uplifting. The evening leaves space for connection, reflection, and those small, surprising moments that stay with you after the music ends.
