Taylor Ashton is a Vancouver-born, Brooklyn-based songwriter whose live shows unfold like a well-told play—tender, humorous, and full of surprises. Whether performing solo or with a full band, his music balances warmth and wit, pairing heartfelt storytelling with a light touch and memorable melodies. His sound recalls the intimacy of Nick Drake, the soul of Bill Withers, and the playful curiosity of Harry Nilsson, while remaining unmistakably his own. Ashton began touring as a teenager with the Canadian folk favorite Fish & Bird before launching a solo career that has taken him from small rooms to national stages. He has collaborated and toured with artists including Aoife O’Donovan, The Wood Brothers, and Rachael Price. His songs invite close listening, laughter, and moments of quiet reflection shared together.
