Join us for Stissing Center’s very first Open Mic Night, a welcoming evening for music, spoken word, comedy, and every kind of self-expression. Artists of all ages and experience levels are invited to take the stage, whether you’re sharing something for the first time or testing new work in front of a supportive crowd. Open mic nights have a rich place in American arts and entertainment, from local community halls to legendary stages like the Apollo Theater, where a young Ella Fitzgerald was discovered after winning Amateur Night. That same spirit of possibility and encouragement lives here. Come perform, listen, and cheer on friends and neighbors as creativity, courage, and community come together on one shared stage.
