Information
The Limeliters arrive at The Grace Note with a sound that has resonated with audiences for more than six decades. Formed in 1959 by Lou Gottlieb, Alex Hassilev, and Glenn Yarbrough during the early days of the American folk revival, the group quickly became known for its distinctive vocal blend and engaging, often humorous stage presence. That spirit continues today with a lineup featuring Andy Corwin, Steve Brooks, and C. Daniel Boling.
Their performances weave together tight harmonies, classic folk repertoire, and a natural ease that comes from years of connecting with audiences. Whether delivering a well-loved traditional song or a lighter, story-filled moment, The Limeliters maintain a balance of musicianship and warmth that defines their enduring appeal.
In the intimate setting of The Grace Note, their voices and personalities come into especially sharp focus. The close connection between performers and audience highlights the group’s core strengths—clarity of sound, shared musicality, and a sense of fun—making for an evening that feels both rooted in tradition and fully present.
