THE BANG GROUP

This rhythm-driven five-member contemporary dance company, at the intersection of percussive, classical, modern and social dance forms, to which is ‘added a few (dance forms) that didn’t exist before we made them up!’ entertains with intricate choreographic structures and cadenced beats. Choreographer David Parker diversifies the root impulses of dance and embraces a full-bodied and wide-ranging vision of dance and rhythmic expression making room for humor, classicism, drama, tenderness and a brawny intellect.
