Tyler Blanton has gained notice in NYC in the past decade for his lyrical and nuanced voice on the vibraphone. He has led tours in the US, Europe, and Asia in a myriad of musical contexts throughout the jazz idiom.
Originally from Sao Paolo, Brazil, pianist Helio Alves has been a sideman in high demand for the past four decades in NYC. His credits include Joe Henderson, Rosa Passos, Airto Moreira, Yo-Yo Ma, and many others. This intergenerational ensemble brings a fresh twist to spirited Brazilian classics making for a joyous musical celebration!
