Stissing Center and Mad Rose Gallery will host the second annual Art Auction on Saturday, June 13, from 5–7 PM. The festive evening invites art lovers, collectors, and community members to enjoy and bid on exceptional artwork while supporting Stissing Center’s mission to bring people together through the shared experience of arts and culture.
An accomplished group of professionals with extensive experience in the art world curate the artwork for the auction. The Art Auction committee is chaired by Neal Rosenthal of Mad Rose Gallery and includes Jack Banning, Didi Barrett, Gwen Greene, Yael Meridan Schori, L. Parker Stephenson, Dorit Straus, Natalie Tyler, and Douglas Walla.
The fundraising auction will feature approximately fifty works across the spectrum of visual arts: photography, painting, ceramics, and sculpture, all generously donated by collectors and celebrated artists from around the world and around the corner. A preview will be available online and in person at Mad Rose Gallery in Millerton for the two weekends prior to the auction, including an Artist Reception on Saturday, May 30.
All proceeds from the event benefit Stissing Center’s vital arts and culture programming, ensuring that creativity and connection continue to thrive in Pine Plains and the surrounding area.
