Bada Swing!

Event
Information

After hit runs at the New York Comedy Festival and Joe's Pub, Bada Swing! arrives at Stissing Center with its offbeat take on a comeback concert. Written and performed by Josh Nasser and Michelle Chan Bennett, with music by Andy Bell and direction by Emily Olcott, the show follows Bobby Bingus and Tommy Linguini—two 1960s crooners whose careers, habits, and perspectives are all showing their age. What begins as a reunion of “greatest hits” quickly unravels as long-buried tensions surface. As the evening unfolds, the two do their best to keep things on track while sidestepping anything resembling vulnerability. Their uneasy partnership becomes part of the story, reflecting changing times and shifting expectations. It’s a strange, funny, and slightly uncomfortable ride—one that doesn’t go quite as planned.
